• Initial and ongoing evaluations to assess medical, psychological, social, and substance-use history.
   
• Individualized treatment plans developed in collaboration with the patient, outlining goals, services, frequency, and duration. 

Dispensing and administration of FDA-approved medications such as methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone for opioid use disorder (OUD). These medications are central to treatment and must be provided under appropriate medical oversight.  

• Individual counseling to address substance use and related psychological issues.
   
• Group counseling for peer support and skill building.
   
• Family counseling and education when appropriate.
   
• Behavioral therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) integrated into treatment.

• Ongoing medical evaluation of treatment effects, co-occurring health conditions, and medication dosing.
   
• Monitoring of adverse events and medication side effects as part of quality and safety protocols. 

Supervised management of withdrawal symptoms when clinically necessary, using gradual medication adjustments, safe dosing protocols, and medical oversight.  

• Patient education on opioid use disorder, medication effects, relapse prevention skills, and harm reduction.
   
• Overdose prevention education, including training on naloxone use and distribution where available.

• Screening for mental health disorders and linkage/referral to appropriate psychiatric care.
   
• Screening for infectious diseases (e.g., HIV/HBV/HCV) and referral for prevention and treatment.

• Case management and care coordination to help patients access housing, employment support, transportation, and social services.
   
• Referrals to community resources including social support, vocational rehabilitation, and recovery support services.

Toxicology testing to monitor treatment progress, medication adherence, and potential substance use, conducted according to clinical need and safety protocols. 

• Structured discharge planning that ensures continuity of care.
   
• Aftercare and relapse prevention support, including linkage to community support groups and ongoing recovery resources.
